Pain Of Truth

Pain Of Truth are playing Bad Astronaut Brewing Co. on Tuesday, November 10, with Pegstar Concerts presenting. They're a hardcore and punk band from Long Island, New York, and they aren't coming alone. The full lineup for the night is Pain Of Truth, Madball, Rotting Out, and Mizery, so it's a four-band bill rather than a single act.

If you're not familiar with them, Pain Of Truth fits right into the hardcore and punk tradition of the East Coast. They're hailing from Long Island, and that's about all you need to know to get a sense of the sound they're bringing to Houston. With Madball, Rotting Out, and Mizery on the same bill, the whole night stays in that same neighborhood—hardcore and punk from start to finish.

Bad Astronaut Brewing Co. is at 1519 Fulton St in Houston, and it's an all-ages venue. There's one detail to keep in mind if you're bringing kids: the front taproom has a no-children-after-9 PM policy, but that doesn't apply to concerts, so you're good to stay through the show. Children ages 6 and over need a ticket.

Doors open at 6 PM and the music starts at 7 PM. With four bands on the bill, you'll want to get there early if you're planning to catch every set.
