Oktoberfest pop-up shopping event with complimentary drinks, light bites, and wine glass painting crafts.
Memorial Assistance Ministries is hosting an Oktoberfest pop-up shopping event at the MAM Resale Store & Boutique on Thursday, October 15. It's a one-day thing, and it turns a regular shopping trip into something more of a social hour.
If you've never been, the MAM Resale Store & Boutique is the retail side of Memorial Assistance Ministries, the organization that runs it. The pop-up adds a few things to the usual browsing: they'll have complimentary drinks and light bites on hand, so you can snack and sip while you look through the racks. There's also a wine glass painting craft project you can join in on, which gives you something to do with your hands between rounds of shopping.
It's a low-pressure way to spend a Thursday afternoon or evening in the neighborhood. You can come for the shopping, stay for the drinks and the painting, or just drop in for one of them. The whole thing is free to attend, so there's no ticket to buy or reservation to make—you just show up.
