Night Comedy!

Mason James, Matt BC, and Dylan Kendrick are taking the stage at The Secret Group on Monday, October 5, as part of the venue's weekly comedy night. The show starts at 8 PM, and the three of them will be the main feature for the evening.

If you're not familiar with the spot, The Secret Group is over in Houston's EaDo neighborhood. It bills itself as the city's premier bar and performance venue, and it hosts live stand-up every Monday night. The whole thing is pitched as a way to "get over your case of the Mondays," which is a pretty honest way to describe why you'd want to be out on a Monday night in the first place. The room books a mix of established comics and open-mic nights, so the lineup changes from week to week, and the door policy is ages 18 and over.

This particular Monday puts James, BC, and Kendrick together on the same bill. Since it's a stand-up showcase, you'll get three different sets in one night rather than one long show. If you've seen any of them before, it's a good chance to see how they're doing these days; if they're new to you, it's an easy way to catch three comics in one sitting.

The Secret Group is at 2101 Polk, Houston, TX 77003. The show starts at 8 PM on Monday, October 5, and the door is 18+.
