A choral concert by Pride Chorus Houston featuring Pride anthems, celebrating resilience and joy through queer music.
Pride Chorus Houston brings Love Out Loud: Anthems of Pride, Resilience and Joy to the Cullen Theater at the Wortham Center on Saturday, June 12. It's a choral concert built around queer pride, resilience, and joy, and it's the final stop in a season that runs from October through June.
Love Out Loud is one of three concerts the chorus is staging at the Cullen Theater this season. The full run covers a wide range of ground: one show focuses on queer composers, another looks at the influence of Black artists on American pop, and this one brings it home to pride anthems. The chorus describes Love Out Loud as bringing queer pride to the stage with style, flair, and big fun.

If you've been following them since the fall, this is the one that caps off the whole cycle. It's a choral performance, so you'll have the full sound of the group rather than a small ensemble. Tickets start at $28.75, and the show is on June 12 at the Wortham Center's Cullen Theater in downtown Houston.
