Kinky Wednesdays

Kinky Wednesdays returns to The Secret Group on Wednesday, October 14, as part of KT Events' midweek series. This particular night is a burlesque experience and content creator mixer, so it's as much about the people in the room as it is about what's on stage. The Secret Group is at 2101 Polk in Houston, and doors open at 8 PM.

Kinky Wednesdays is the midweek home for KT Events HTX, the team behind Three of Swords Burlesque, ParadoxXx, and K1nky Circus Houston. The whole series is produced by Darkness Hyde and Lady Scarlet, and they describe it as Houston's longest-running weekly kink event—twelve years strong. It's built as a welcoming, judgment-free space where learning, exploration, and community come together, open to everyone and especially to those curious about trying something new. Local artists and vendors are part of the mix, so you'll find Houston talent on display.

In 2026, the series is returning to the fundamentals: consent, communication, and intentional play. That means hands-on experiences and open play spaces throughout the night. You'll find electrical play, a spanking bench, wax play, a teasing and sensual booth, and Shibari rope. It's the kind of setup where you can watch, learn, or get involved at your own pace, and the focus stays on the basics of how to play safely and with intention.

Kinky Wednesdays runs on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, so if you miss this one, there's another coming later in the month. Tickets are $15 per person, and the bar is cashless, so keep that in mind before you head out. Doors open at 8 PM at The Secret Group.
