Inside the Groove

Inside the Groove is happening at Sanman Studios on Tuesday, October 6, starting at 7 PM. It's a music trivia night, and the whole evening is built around a few simple things: music, natural wine, and hanging out with other people who love both. If you're into the intersection of record collecting and a good glass of wine, this is exactly that.

The music trivia is the main event, so you'll want to bring your knowledge of artists, albums, and the deeper cuts that usually separate the casual listeners from the people who spend their weekends digging through crates. It's the kind of thing that works best when you've got a few friends to bounce answers off of, and the prizes are there to give the whole thing a bit of stakes. Between the rounds, there's natural wine to keep things loose, which is a nice touch if you're more of a drinker than a trivia whiz.

Beyond the competition, the night is as much about the socializing as it is about the music. It's a chance to meet other people in Houston who are into the same records you are, and to talk shop over a few glasses of wine. If you've been looking for a way to connect with the city's music crowd without a loud concert getting in the way, this is a good spot to start.

It all goes down at Sanman Studios on Tuesday, October 6, starting at 7 PM. Tickets are available at https://do713.com/events/2026/10/6/inside-the-groove-tickets.
