Metalcore artist Elijah performs with the alternative rock band Icon For Hire and Lauren Babic at the White Oak Music Hall.
Icon For Hire headline White Oak Music Hall on Friday, November 13, with Elijah and Lauren Babic on the bill. It's an all-ages, general admission night, standing room only, at a cashless venue.
Icon For Hire formed in Decatur, Illinois, back in 2007, when Ariel Bloomer and Shawn Jump started the project. They play anthemic alternative and rap rock built on heavy riffs and electronic flourishes, with lyrics that lean into mental health. Some of their best-known songs are "Make a Move" and "Cynics & Critics," and they've put out the album The Reckoning.
Elijah (Elijah Nathan Borders) is a Nashville native and an American singer in the rock and metalcore scene, known for energetic live shows and tracks like "harder to lie" and "virus." He'll be sharing the bill with Lauren Babic, who is also on the lineup.
