Women's professional soccer match between the Houston Dash and the Orlando Pride, presented as a Breast Cancer Awareness Night by UT MD Anderson.
Houston Dash take on Orlando Pride at Shell Energy Stadium on Sunday, October 18, at 12 PM. It's a midday kickoff, so you'll be out of the stadium and back to your Sunday afternoon well before dinner.
Beyond the match itself, this is Breast Cancer Awareness Night, presented by UT MD Anderson. The Dash have tied the game to the cause, and having MD Anderson—one of the biggest names in cancer care and a Houston institution—behind it puts the focus on the awareness side of the day. If you've got a personal connection to the cause, that's a good reason to make this one a priority over a regular match.
On the pitch, it's a straight-up NWSL clash: Houston Dash hosting Orlando Pride. The Dash are playing on their home turf at Shell Energy Stadium, and the Pride are coming in from Florida for the visit. It's a Sunday afternoon game, so it's an easy one to bring friends or family along for.
