Two-day celebration of independent comedy film with live jazz, aerial performers and networking, with alcohol available at evening events.
The Houston Comedy Film Festival takes over The DeLuxe Theater on October 10 and 11, 2026. It's a two-day celebration of independent film, and it doesn't stop at the screenings. Live jazz and aerial performers will be part of the mix, and there's a networking component built in, so you'll spend as much time talking to the people around you as you do watching the screen.
The festival is for guests 18 and older, and the screenings run across both days. The party is the other half of the equation, and it's where the live music and aerial acts come into play. Between the films and the party, there's a good amount of ground to cover over the weekend.
If you're coming from out of town, you've got two major airports to choose from: George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU). The theater has free parking in its own lot, which is one less thing to worry about when you're figuring out your ride. Alcohol will be available at the evening events, so keep that in mind if you're planning your night.

There are a few ways to do it: the $100 Festival Bundle covers two days of screenings plus the party, and if you can't make the whole thing, there are one-day screening passes and party-only tickets available. The festival runs October 10 and 11 at The DeLuxe Theater in Houston.
