Post-hardcore trio Holding Absence performs with support from Canadian band Arm's Length at Warehouse Live Midtown.
Holding Absence play Warehouse Live Midtown on Wednesday, October 7, with Arm's Length opening. The show is presented by Third String Productions.
Holding Absence are a post-hardcore trio from Cardiff, Wales, built around pummelling drums, sharp riffs, and huge choruses. Their debut LP came out in 2019 through Sharptone and charted in the UK. Since then, they've kept that same heavy-hitting sound at the center of what they do.
Arm's Length open the bill. They're a Canadian emo, post-hardcore, and pop-punk band from Quinte West, Ontario, formed in 2018. They've built their name on emotionally raw lyricism, melodic guitars, and anthemic hooks. Their discography includes Never Before Seen, Never Again Found (2022) and There's a Whole World Out There (2025), with songs like "Object Permanence" and "Funny Face" as some of their better-known tracks.
