Weekly Thursday afternoon session on the Main Street Promenade with street performances, food and drink specials, and patio seating near the Kiam Building.
Happy Hour on Main returns to The Kiam Building on Thursday, Oct 8, from 4 PM to 7 PM. It's part of the Main Street Promenade's weekly Thursday afternoon session, presented by Downtown Houston, and it runs every Thursday through the end of the year.
The setup is simple: street performances staged near the Kiam Building on the 300 block of Main Street, with food and drink specials from the businesses along the Promenade. There's patio seating and games out on the street, and the activity stretches down to Jones on Main on the 700 block. It's designed as a way to ease into the evening, and since it's outdoors on the promenade, you can drift between the performances and the surrounding shops and bars.
If you miss the Oct 8 date, it's easy to catch another. The series continues every Thursday through the fall and winter: Oct 15, 22, and 29, then Nov 5, 12, 19, and 26, and finally Dec 3, 10, 17, and 24. That's twelve Thursdays in a row, so you can pick the one that fits your schedule best.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Houston and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
