Halloween Boo Book Bash

McCrane-Kashmere Gardens Neighborhood Library is hosting the Halloween Boo Book Bash on Wednesday, October 28, starting at 4 PM. It's a family-focused Halloween session, so it's built for kids and parents to hang out together rather than a drop-off event. Costumes are welcome, which is a nice touch if you've already got the kids' outfits ready and want a place to actually wear them.

The afternoon is built around a few different activities. There will be stories read aloud, which is the core of the whole thing, and crafts for the kids to work on. They're also putting out snacks, so it's more of a full afternoon than just a quick stop-in. Between the reading, the making, and the eating, there's enough going on to keep a group of kids occupied for a while.

It's a free event, though you'll need to RSVP to get in. If you're planning to go, it's worth getting that sorted early so you're on the list. The session kicks off at 4 PM at the McCrane-Kashmere Gardens Neighborhood Library in Houston.
