Rooftop concert featuring Rickey Davis, 'The Classic Gentleman', performing Frank Sinatra classics at Outpost.
Rickey Davis, performing as 'The Classic Gentleman,' brings a Frank Sinatra tribute to Outpost on Saturday, December 19, from 8 PM to 10 PM. The show is presented by POST Houston at Outpost, the venue's covered rooftop pavilion at POST Houston, 401 Franklin Street, Houston, TX 77201. Davis builds the set around Sinatra's timeless classics and greatest hits, the songs most people associate with the singer.
Davis doesn't describe himself as an imitator. He works as a vocal artist, and the phrasing he's known for has earned him a few nicknames: a walking embodiment of the classic cavalier, or a ghost from the past. He's performed in Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles, and has appeared at several Academy Awards galas in Hollywood. In 2017, he won the International Frank Sinatra Idol Contest. Beyond the music, Davis received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joseph R. Biden in 2023 for his lifelong dedication to strengthening the nation through volunteer service.

The concert runs rain or shine under the covered rooftop pavilion, so the weather won't cancel it. Seating is first-come, first-served, so if you want a good spot, it's worth arriving early. Food and drinks are available at POST Market and up on the roof, which means you can grab a bite and a drink before the music starts. The show runs from 8 PM to 10 PM on Saturday, December 19.
