Faisal Kapadia - SIUT Fundraiser Unplugged

Faisal Kapadia is playing an unplugged fundraising concert at the Hyatt Regency Houston West on Saturday, October 10, 2026. It's a solo show, so the night is built around his voice rather than a full band.

If you know him, you know him as the lead vocalist of Strings, the South Asian band he fronted for years. He also produced the Pakistani music show This Is Coke Studio from season 7 through season 10. Strings put out six studio albums—Duur, Dhaani, Koi Aanay Wala Hai, and Thirty—and he recorded numerous Bollywood film songs before the band called it quits in 2021. Since then, he's been working on his own.

His solo career started with the single "Phir Milenge," which he performed on Coke Studio 14 in collaboration with Young Stunners. That led to his first solo album, Zindagi Jahaan Le Jaaye, which includes "Dheema Dheema," "Kabhi," "Jaadu," and "La Takhoun." He later added "Khaada Aye" and "Nadaan" to his original soundtrack repertoire, and released "Sadiyaan" in September 2025. This is an unplugged set, so you'll hear those songs stripped back.

The show is at the Hyatt Regency Houston West, 13210 Katy Fwy, and it starts at 6:30 PM.
