A concert where the complete film is shown on screen while its Oscar-winning score is performed live by the Orquesta Folclorica Nacional de Mexico, with options for Spanish and English language versions.
Disney & Pixar's Coco in Concert comes to Jones Hall on Saturday, November 14, and stays through Sunday, November 16. It's the full movie on the big screen, with Michael Giacchino's Oscar-winning score played live right beneath it by the Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México, conducted by Esin Aydingoz.
Since the music is performed in real time, you'll hear "Remember Me," the Oscar-winning song by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and the film's original songs by Germaine Franco and co-director Adrian Molina as they happen on screen. The story follows Miguel, who dreams of becoming a musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz and finds himself in the Land of the Dead, where he meets the trickster Héctor. The whole thing runs two hours and fifteen minutes with one intermission.
