A global culinary phenomenon where guests dressed in white gather at a secret location for a chic outdoor dining experience with the Belle Epoque theme.
Diner en Blanc returns to Houston on Saturday, October 17, 2026, starting at 5 PM. It's a global culinary phenomenon that's hard to describe if you've never seen it: thousands of guests dressed head-to-toe in white gather at a secret location for a chic picnic en masse, guided there by a handful of volunteers.
The evening unfolds in stages. You don't just show up at a venue; you meet at one of several designated departure points around the city and are led to the site by a volunteer table leader. Once you arrive, you set up your own table and chairs. On cue, everyone waves a white cloth napkin in unison to signal the start of the meal, and the night continues with dinner and dancing under the open sky.
The 2026 global theme, Une Soirée Parisienne - La Belle Époque, draws inspiration from Paris at its peak of artistic brilliance and joyful living. The experience leans on gastronomy, travel, and fashion, with chances to sample local brands and meet celebrity chefs. It's as much about the dress code and the ritual as it is about the food.
