Concert by Los Angeles singer-songwriter DeathbyRomy at the Community Cultivation Network.
DeathbyRomy plays the Community Cultivation Network on Saturday, October 17, as part of the 2000 Ethereal Nights 2026 festival. The show starts at 2 PM, so it's a daytime date rather than a late-night one.
DeathbyRomy is the stage name of Romy Maxine Flores, a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. She's coming off her second album, Hollywood Forever, which is already out, and she's just about to drop her third studio record, Teenage Fever Dream, on Friday, October 30. That puts this Houston show right in the window between the two releases, so it's a good time to catch her before the new one is fully out in the world.
If you've followed her since the beginning, you'll recognize the electro-tinged rock of earlier tracks like "2468" and "LONELIEST GIRL." The new material takes a bit of a turn from there. The single "LOLLIPOP," which features New York rapper Princess Nokia, blends pop and trap—a change of pace from the sound of those earlier songs. Between the older stuff and the new record, there's enough ground to cover for a full set.
