Community trunk or treat with participating organisations and food vendors in the Garden's main parking area, hosted by Gamma Alpha Psi Fraternity.
Gamma Alpha Psi Fraternity is hosting a community trunk or treat at the Houston Botanic Garden on Sunday, October 18, from 3 PM to 7 PM. It's a free event, and you don't need a ticket to get in.
If you've never done a trunk or treat, the setup is pretty straightforward: organizations and community partners back their cars into a row and decorate their trunks to hand out candy, so you can walk from one to the next without having to go door-to-door through a neighborhood. This one is hosted by Gamma Alpha Psi, and they're bringing in about 40 participating organizations to set up, along with food vendors and community partners. With that many trunks in one spot, it's more of a gathering than a quick stop.
It's held in the Garden's main parking area, right next to the Picnic Grove, so you're in the heart of the grounds. Since it runs from mid-afternoon into the early evening, you've got a good window to come and go whenever works for your day.
