A contemporary circus show reimagining Lewis Carroll's Wonderland with acrobatics, aerialists, contortionists, puppetry and comedy, suitable for all ages.
Cirque Alice makes its Houston debut at Jesse H. Jones Hall from March 23 to March 27, 2027, as part of the Chiang Family Series. It's a five-day run, so you've got a few nights to choose from.
The show takes Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and turns it into a circus act where gravity is optional. Acrobats tumble down the rabbit hole, aerialists soar, and contortionists, puppetry, and comedy fill in the gaps. The whole thing is built around acrobatic performers gathered from around the world, set to classical favorites newly arranged for the circus. It's a full evening—two hours with one intermission—and it's rated for all ages, so it works for families as much as for anyone who just likes to see what the human body can do.
Behind it are the creators of The Illusionists, Circus 1903, and Le Noir, so this isn't their first time putting together a large-scale production. If you've seen any of those, you'll have a sense of the scale they work with. This is their first time bringing a show to Houston, and they're doing it at Jones Hall.

Tickets start at $46, and the run is short—just five days from March 23 to March 27—so if you're planning to go, it's worth picking your night early. The performance runs two hours with one intermission, and there's limited on-stage seating reserved for the most daring.
