R&B singers Chris Brown and Usher perform The R&B Tour at NRG Stadium in Houston.
Chris Brown and Usher are co-headlining NRG Stadium on Friday, October 9, as part of The R&B Tour. It's their first full stadium tour together, and the name comes from their surnames and the genre they've both spent their careers in. They've worked together before—most notably on the remix of Brown's 2014 single "New Flame," as well as "Party" and "Back to Sleep (Remix)"—and the show is built around that same pairing: joint numbers mixed with solo sets that pull from several eras of their respective catalogs.
Usher has been one of the defining R&B voices of the late 1990s and 2000s, with albums like My Way, 8701, and the 2004 best-seller Confessions, and hits like "Yeah!", "Burn", "U Remind Me" and "My Boo". He released Coming Home in 2024 and headlined the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show. Brown rose to fame with his self-titled debut and the No. 1 single "Run It!", and his 2023 album 11:11 won the 2025 Grammy for Best R&B Album. The tour is also known as the Raymond & Brown Tour, taking its name from their surnames.
Between the two of them, the setlist reaches back through decades of R&B, from Usher's late-90s start to Brown's debut and their more recent work. The show blends those solo runs with the joint numbers they've done together over the years, so you'll hear the hits from their individual records alongside the collaborations they've shared on stage and in the studio. It's a high-production stadium show, with both artists taking the lead throughout the night.
