Weekly comedy show hosted by Corlis DeLauren and Tess Vergult at The Secret Group, featuring local talent and themed performances.
C U Next Tuesday is back at The Secret Group on Tuesday, October 13, with Corlis DeLauren and Tess Vergult hosting. It's a weekly comedy showcase in the Houston East End, and this one runs from 10 PM to 11:30 PM.
The show bills itself as Houston's hottest comedy showcase, and it lives up to the variety it promises. It pulls together top local talent and surprise celebrity guests, with themed performances and interactive games mixed in. Because it's a weekly thing, the lineup changes, and the format keeps it from feeling like a standard stand-up set. The whole thing runs for an hour and a half, so it's a full night of comedy rather than a quick stop.
There's a drink special running alongside the show: $3 well drinks. If you're planning on staying for the full ninety minutes, that's a fair way to spend the evening. The room is The Secret Group, located at 2101 Polk in the East End, and there's an over-21 door policy, so keep your ID handy.

As for the cost, it's a pay-what-you-can show, which means you can decide what you want to put in. Between the $3 wells and the flexible ticket price, it's one of the easier comedy nights to drop into on a Tuesday. The show runs from 10 PM to 11:30 PM at The Secret Group, 2101 Polk, Houston, TX 77003.
