ButtTootKing

ButtTootKing brings a comedy show to Warehouse Live Midtown on Friday, October 16, with Lydia B Kollins, Suzie Toot, and Kori King joining the bill. It's a full lineup for the night, so you'll get more than just one set.

Warehouse Live Midtown is an East Downtown spot in a historic warehouse from the 1920s, renovated and opened in 2006. It's mostly known as a live-music venue—it's hosted Adele, Drake, P.O.D., SZA, Baby Keem, and Dance Gavin Dance—but it also does burlesque and comedy. The building has three performance spaces: the main ballroom, which holds up to 1,300 people; The Studio, which holds 450; and The Greenroom, which holds 150. Citysearch once named it the best music venue in Houston.

The show starts at 8 PM, and doors open about an hour before, so you've got plenty of time to get in and settle before the first act takes the stage. Tickets run from $54.84 to $71.42, with the average coming out to $63.13. One thing to keep in mind: this is an 18+ event, so you'll need to be at least 18 to get in. If you're planning to go, just remember the 8 PM start and the age requirement.
