Metalcore band Born of Osiris performs live at Warehouse Live Midtown as part of their The Perpetual Iron Tour, with support from Miss May I, 752K, Convictions and Downswing.
Born of Osiris play Warehouse Live Midtown on Friday, November 27, as part of their Perpetual Iron Tour. They're bringing a full bill with them: Miss May I, 752K, Convictions, and Downswing. The night starts at 6 PM.
This isn't just another tour stop. The Perpetual Iron Tour is built around the 15th anniversary of The Discovery, the record that put them on the map. It's also their first time touring with Miss May I, so that's a new pairing to see live. If you've followed them for a while, you know the sound: polyrhythmic riffing, chaotic vocals, and synths running through the whole thing. They've been at it since 2007, and The Discovery came out in 2011, so it's a good chunk of their catalog to be celebrating.
For context, Born of Osiris is a Chicago quintet — Ronnie Canizaro on lead vocals, Joe Buras on keys, synthesizers, and vocals, Lee McKinney on guitar, Nick Rossi on bass, and Cameron Losch on drums. They put out four consecutive Billboard Top 200 albums through Sumerian Records: A Higher Place (2009), The Discovery (2011), Tomorrow We Die Alive (2013), and Soul Sphere (2015). In 2017, they toured their debut The New Reign in its entirety, and that was when Nick Rossi took over on bass after original player David Da Rocha left. The Simulation followed in 2019, produced by Nick Sampson. Over the years, they've shared stages with Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, and Bring Me The Horizon.
