Concert featuring the Swedish metalcore band Aviana, headlined by Northlane, at the White Oak Music Hall.
Northlane are back in Houston on Thursday, February 18, 2027, at White Oak Music Hall, headlining a full bill with Aviana, Allt, Reliqa, and 376K. It's part of their North American tour in support of Anemoia, the album that follows their No. 1 record Obsidian (2022).
Anemoia takes its name from the feeling of nostalgia for a time or place you've never known, and that idea runs through the record. Jordan Fish executive produced it, and the whole thing was sparked by a mind-altering set from UK producer and DJ Evian Christ. That set inspired songwriter and guitarist Jon Deiley to explore how trance could work naturally with guitars and the catharsis of heavy music. More than 15 years into their career, Northlane is playing at the forefront of heavy music with over 500 million streams.
Joining them is Aviana, from Gothenburg, Sweden, fronted by Joel Holmqvist. Their sound pulls from a wide range—core, djent, melodic metalcore, nu metal, and progressive metalcore—and their new album VOID is out via Arising Empire. With Allt, Reliqa, and 376K rounding out the bill, it's a full night of heavy music rather than just one headliner.
