Artikal Sound System

Artikal Sound System plays House of Blues on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 7 PM. They're a reggae band from South Florida, and this is a headline show with them as the sole act on the bill.

The band started in 2012, when guitarist Chris Montague and bassist Fabian Acuña spent their early years backing a string of Caribbean singers. Eventually they added keyboardist Christopher Cope and drummer Adam Kampf, and later female vocalist Logan Rex. After more than a decade of playing together, they describe their sound as tight and powerful, with a jazz-influenced approach and a message of love at its core.

They'll be playing in The Bronze Peacock, which is inside the House of Blues Houston at 1204 Caroline St. It's an all-ages show, so you can bring whoever you want, and it's standing room only, meaning you'll be on your feet for the set.
