An evening of comedy, beer and tequila featuring some of Houston's best comedians, with all proceeds going to the comics.
The Secret Group presents the $2 BILL Two Dollar Comedy Show this Wednesday, October 14, at 2101 Polk in Houston. It's a two-hour showcase featuring some of the city's best comedians, and the title isn't a joke—tickets are $2, and all that money goes directly to the comics. The show runs from 8 PM to 10 PM, with doors opening at 7:30 PM, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before the first act takes the stage.
Beyond the comedy, the night is built around beer and tequila, with drink specials running all night. It's an 18-and-over show, so you'll want to have your ID ready at the door. The Secret Group bills it as the hottest ticket in town, and at two bucks a seat, it's one of the easiest ways to catch a full lineup of local talent without spending much to get in.
