The Underground is back this weekend with Villain's Edition, running Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October. It's a live performance evening staged as a speakeasy cabaret, and the dress code is your favourite villain, so you'll want to lean into the theme. The whole thing is 19+ with bar service, and the room stays that way throughout.
There's a fair bit of mystery built into the night. The performers are kept secret until the show actually begins, and the venue itself stays under wraps until 24 hours before, when the location is sent to ticket holders by text and email. Once you're inside, cell phones are switched off, which means you're watching live art in an underground cabaret setting without the distraction of a screen. The evening runs for about two to two and a half hours.

Doors open at 8:00 pm, and the show starts at 8:30 pm. They've made it clear there are no latecomers, so it's worth arriving early to get settled before things kick off. Tickets are C$49, which includes HST.
