The High Kings, an Irish traditional music group, perform live at The Bruce Guthro Theatre at Casino Nova Scotia.
The High Kings play The Bruce Guthro Theatre at Casino Nova Scotia on Tuesday, 22 September, as part of their 2026 tour. The four-piece Irish group consists of Finbarr Clancy, Darren Holden, Brian Dunphy and Paul O'Brien, and they've been together since 2007.
They formed with the aim of reviving traditional Irish ballads, and they've built their following on rich vocal harmonies and a multi-instrumental sound. Their self-titled debut reached No. 2 on the Billboard World Music chart, and it was followed by the platinum-selling Memory Lane in 2010, Friends for Life in 2013 and Grace & Glory in 2016. Along with the traditional material, they've released original tracks like "Chasing Rainbows."
They're known for energetic live shows and have sold out venues across Ireland, North America and Europe. A few of their career highlights include performing for President Barack Obama at the White House and appearing at the Pentagon. The Halifax date is one stop on their 2026 tour, and it's a 19+ event.
