Summer Tuesday Night Tunes at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic

Summer Tuesday Night Tunes returns to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic on Tuesday, July 28, as part of the museum's ongoing summer music series. The live set runs from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, an hour of music right in the middle of the museum's free Tuesday night hours.

If you're not familiar with how it works, the museum is open for free every Tuesday from 4 pm to 8 pm, so you can wander through the galleries and see the exhibits before the music starts, or stick around afterwards. The live performance sits right in the centre of that window, with the museum's doors open for four hours and the music taking up the middle hour. It's a good way to spend a Tuesday evening on the waterfront without needing a plan for the whole night.

This is the 11th year the museum has run Tuesday Night Tunes, a series that brings live music to the Halifax waterfront throughout the summer. It's become a regular part of the city's summer calendar, with different acts taking turns on the bill across the season. The museum is at 1675 Lower Water Street, right on the waterfront, so it's an easy spot to get to whether you're coming from downtown or just strolling along the boardwalk.
