A night for the music community to unwind and connect with spontaneous jam sessions and networking at Rox Live.
Band's Night Out is back at Rox Live on Thursday, August 27, from 7:30 pm to 11:59 pm. It's a night built for the music community, designed for musicians, solo artists and music lovers to unwind, connect and collaborate in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. The evening runs from spontaneous jams to new connections and future gigs, and it welcomes all musicians and all genres: whether you sing or play guitar, bass, drums or keys, or just want to jump in and jam, you're welcome.
Sean hosts the night, which runs every second Thursday at Rox Live. It's a place to meet and network with other local musicians, jump into live jam sessions and take the mic to showcase your sound. If you want to reserve a spot on stage, you contact Sean directly. The music happens on the Crown Royal stage, and the whole thing is open to anyone who plays, regardless of what you do or what style you're into.

It's a low-stakes way to get out and play without the pressure of a formal gig, and since it's a recurring thing, it's as much about the people you meet as the music you make. If you're a musician looking for a place to jam or just someone who likes watching things come together on the fly, it's a good one to keep on your radar. The night is free, and it runs from 7:30 pm to 11:59 pm at Rox Live, 1743 Grafton Street, Halifax.
