Free outdoor movie night under the stars at Queen's Marque, with a schedule of films throughout the summer.
Queen's Marque is showing Fantastic Mr. Fox on Monday, August 17, as part of its summer movie series. It's a free outdoor screening at the waterfront, one of several films they've been running throughout the season.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is Wes Anderson's stop-motion take on the Roald Dahl story, so it's a family-friendly one. The movie runs from 8:26 p.m. to 9:54 p.m., which means it starts late enough that the sun should be down and the stars out by the time the credits roll.
There's no assigned seating, so you'll want to bring your own blanket or a chair and find a spot on the waterfront. They encourage you to bring along your own favourite movie snacks too, so you can settle in and watch from wherever you land. Since it's outdoors, it's worth keeping the weather in mind before you head down.
