Electronic music performance by Neon Dreams as the opener at the DalFest 2026 O-Week event in Halifax.
Neon Dreams are playing DalFest 2026 on Friday, September 11, at the Studley Quad on campus. It's part of the festival's lineup in downtown Halifax, and they're taking the stage as the opener for the night's headliner, The Beaches. If you've followed Neon Dreams for a while, you know they've spent the last few years moving from a local name to something much larger, and this is one of those dates where they're playing to a home crowd.
They're not the only act on the bill. The Beaches headline the evening, and there's a DJ on the decks to keep things moving between sets. Beyond the music, the night includes a few other things to do: there are activities running alongside the performances and a photobooth on site, so it's more of a full evening than just a couple of bands playing one after the other.

It's a free show for anyone with an O-Week pass, though you'll need to have both your O-Week Pass and your Dalcard on you to get in. The music runs from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, so there's plenty of time to catch both acts and hang around for the rest. The venue is the Studley Quad, 6225 University Ave, Halifax, NS, B3H 4R2.
