Moira & Claire

Moira & Claire play Stillwell Brewing Company on Wednesday, August 12, as part of a night put on by 2b theatre company. The evening starts at 6:30 pm at 3670 Kempt Road in Halifax, and the music doesn't kick off until later: Moira & Claire take the stage at 9:00 pm, followed by Pillow Fite at 10:00 pm.

It's not a standard gig. 2b theatre company is presenting the whole thing, and their co-directors are running a dunk tank as part of the programming, so the night pairs cold beer and live music from local acts with the chance to dunk one of the company's own. The music comes from two local acts, Moira & Claire and Pillow Fite, playing one after the other.

There are two ways to do the night. You can go for the VIP reception, which comes with Bites & Flights — a guided beer tasting with catered bites — or stick with general admission. Space is limited, so it's worth deciding which one you want sooner rather than later. If you're looking for more to eat, The ATomic Dog food truck will be on-site.
