Two nights of country rock and live music with a full dance floor at the Crown Royal Stage.
M² & The Ramblers are back at Rox Live on Friday, August 28, for two nights of country rock. The band takes over the Crown Royal Stage, and they're playing the same set both nights, so if you can't make the first one, you've got a second chance on Saturday.
They describe it as country rock, and that's the whole point of the thing. It's dance-floor music, not the kind of set you sit through with your arms crossed. They're playing for a full dance floor, and they've talked about the energy they bring to the room — the kind that keeps people moving all night long. If you're into country rock and you'd rather be dancing than watching, this is exactly that.
It's a late one, though. The music runs from 10:30 pm to 1:30 am, so it's more of a nightcap than a dinner-time thing. If you're planning to go, it pays to get there early: the cover is C$5 before 11 pm and goes up to C$10 after. There's a C$7 food menu and C$2.50 drinks at the bar, so you can sort yourself out before the set gets going.
