Death metal and hardcore concert by the band Livid, part of the HHC Summer of '26 festival.
Livid are playing the Army Navy Air Force Club on Friday 7 August, as part of the HHC Summer of '26. It's a death metal and hardcore night, with Livid taking the main slot. The bill brings together three bands from across the region, so it's more than just a local showcase.
Joining them are Primal Horde, coming in from Quebec, and Rhabdomyolysis, travelling over from New Brunswick. There are more names to be added to the line-up, so the night will likely run longer than just those three. Between the death metal and the hardcore, the bill covers a fair bit of ground within the heavier end of the spectrum, and having bands coming from Quebec and New Brunswick means it's a bit of a cross-province gathering rather than a purely Halifax affair.
