Halifax Fashion Week wraps up its fifth year with the Closing Night Couture Showcase at the Light House Arts Centre on Saturday, August 15. It's the finale of the 5th Annual Halifax Fashion Week, presented by Soli Productions, and it's the night they save the haute couture for.
The runway will feature collections from Khush Mizaj, Eli'Sawey Designs, and The Silk Route, with more to follow. Those three names alone give you a sense of the range on display: Khush Mizaj, Eli'Sawey Designs, and The Silk Route each bring their own approach to the catwalk, and since this is the couture showcase, you'll be seeing the more intricate, high-fashion side of their work rather than everyday wear. The "and more" means there will be additional designers added to the bill before the night, so the line-up will be even broader by the time the first model walks.
As the closing night, this is the final show of the entire festival, so it's the one that brings the whole week together.
