A weekly trivia night hosted by local comedian Brad Doiron at Good Robot Brewing Company, where general knowledge questions are mixed with charity-themed rounds to support local nonprofits.
Goodwill Trivia Mondays run every Monday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Good Robot Brewing Company, 2736 Robie Street in the North End. It's a general knowledge trivia night hosted by local comedian Brad Doiron, but it's not just your usual pub quiz: the general rounds are mixed with special questions tied to that week's nonprofit partner, and the partner organisation may also fundraise through auctions on the night.
The evening is part of Good Robot's wider history of community work. The award-winning brewery has been supporting local causes since 2015 through its Goodwill Programs, including Goodwill Bot, which has raised more than C$120,000 for over 400 nonprofit organisations, including Dartmouth General Hospital and Fly With Me Animal Rescue. Each trivia night adds C$1 from every beverage sold to the weekly charity โ a cause the brewery champions at a time when 62% of Canadian charities report a significant increase in demand for their services.
Every week we pick ๐ the 5 best ๐ things to do in Halifax and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's a low-stakes way to spend a Monday night while putting a bit of money toward a local cause. Admission is free, and the brewery runs other community nights too, like Silent Reading on the first Wednesday of every month. If you're in the North End on a Monday, you can drop in for the trivia from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at 2736 Robie Street.
