Garnet Rogers plays The Carleton on Friday, October 23, 2026, with a second show the following day, Saturday, October 24. The two dates are presented as a pair, and the Saturday afternoon performance is a special matinee.
Rogers is a Canadian folk musician, singer, songwriter and composer who started his professional career working alongside his older brother, Stan. He's now regarded as one of the most influential acts in North American folk music. He grew up listening to Grand Ol' Opry broadcasts and by his early teens was playing the flute, violin and guitar. On stage, he's a charismatic performer with a smooth, dark baritone, known for his over-the-top humour and lightning-quick wit. Throughout his career, he's remained resolutely independent, turning down major-label offers. He's also written several books, including 6 Crows Gold and Night Drive - Travels with my Brother, and continues to tour.

The Friday show is at The Carleton, 1685 Argyle St., with doors at 5:00 pm and the show starting at 8:00 pm. The Saturday matinee follows with doors at 12:00 pm and the show at 1:30 pm. Tickets are C$40.00 in advance.
