A live Celtic music performance by Michael Lloyd at the Stone's Throw Patio, part of the 'Celtic on the Harbour' summer series.
Celtic on the Harbour is running every Tuesday through September 1 at Stone's Throw Patio, the outdoor waterfront spot at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. The series brings together some of Nova Scotia's best Celtic musicians on the patio, with the music running from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. If you're around the waterfront on a Tuesday evening, it's a good way to spend a couple of hours with live music and the harbour right there.
Stone's Throw is the hotel's open-air dining destination, and it's set up for a relaxed night out: local craft beers on tap, elevated seafood, and a dog-friendly, wheelchair-accessible space. The patio also runs a daily happy hour, so you can time your drinks around the music. In the kitchen, Executive Chef Ted Pace—a Halifax native who trained at the Culinary Institute of Canada in Prince Edward Island—brings more than 30 years of experience to the menu.

Admission is free, though reservations are recommended. The music goes until 8:30 PM, so you've got plenty of time to settle in with a drink and some food. It's at 1919 Upper Water Street, right on the Halifax waterfront.
