Country, folk and bluegrass with Cameron Nickerson, with opening act Tommy Lutz.
Cameron Nickerson plays Bearly's House of Blues & Ribs in downtown Halifax on Friday 9 October, with Tommy Lutz opening the night. Nickerson describes himself as a country cuttin' bluegrass artist, and the set draws from that country, folk and bluegrass territory.
There's a fair bit of recent material to pull from. His album Detours is out on CD, and on 24 July 2026 he released the single 'Lighter', which he recorded with The Wagon. Between the full album and the new single, there's enough to build a set that reaches back a bit while keeping the newer songs in the mix. Lutz takes the first slot, so the music starts well before Nickerson takes over.

Beyond the music, Nickerson sells original thrifted tees, so if you're into that, there'll be some to look through. Tickets are C$25.00, and the whole thing goes down at Bearly's on 9 October.
