Major junior hockey game between the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and the Halifax Mooseheads at the Scotiabank Centre.
The Halifax Mooseheads take on Rouyn-Noranda at the Scotiabank Centre on Thursday, October 8, at 7:00 PM. It's a regular-season home game for the Mooseheads, who are Halifax's hometown major junior hockey team, and this one falls early in their 2026-2027 schedule. The venue is at 1800 Argyle Street in the city centre, and doors open an hour before puck drop, so you've got plenty of time to get in and find your seat before the game starts.
If you're figuring out where to sit, there are two main sections to choose from. In the lower bowl, adult tickets run from C$22 to C$30, with youth 12 and under at C$12 to C$22, seniors 60 and over at C$20 to C$28, and students with a valid ID at C$12 to C$22. The upper bowl is a bit cheaper: adults are C$22 to C$28, youth 12 and under C$12 to C$18, seniors 60 and over C$20 to C$24, and students C$14 to C$18.

There's one more thing to keep in mind if you're a student: for Thursday games, student tickets are a flat C$12 for both the lower and upper bowls, so it's worth having your ID handy. With the game on a Thursday night, it's a mid-week match rather than a weekend affair, and the Mooseheads are playing on home ice here at the Scotiabank Centre. Puck drops at 7:00 PM.
