A deconsecrated church building on Castle Street in the Townhead area of Glasgow, the Barony Hall is a Victorian neo-Gothic structure of red sandstone. It is home to the University of Strathclyde's graduation ceremonies and is used as a venue for concerts, hospitality and events.

Gaelic singer Kim Carnie blends traditional Gaelic song with contemporary Scottish roots and cinematic folk soundscapes at The Barony Hall, part of Celtic Connections.

Graham MacKenzie plays his piece 'The Legend of Loch Maree' with Ailis Sutherland on fiddle, plus Kathleen MacInnes, Rory Matheson, Innes Watson and Conal McDonagh, at Celtic Connections.
