Magician Dave Forrest presents a modern magic and mentalism show in an intimate private room in the Merchant City.
Dave Forrest brings his parlour show, The Hush Club, to Babbity Bowster on Saturday 24 October, in a private room upstairs in the Merchant City. It's a close-up magic and mentalism night, and it returns after a successful debut year.
Forrest is a working professional with more than 25 years of experience, world-renowned for his work with a pack of cards. He's coming fresh from his fourth appearance at The World Famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, LA, so he's bringing a bit of that international stage back to a small room in Glasgow. The show mixes close-up magic and mentalism, delivered in his hilarious, charming, everyman style. It's the sort of thing that works best when you're close enough to see it happen right under your nose.
People who've seen it describe it as highly entertaining, engaging, funny, and breathtaking close-up magic. Because it's in a private room rather than a big theatre, it's a small, intimate setting where the tricks happen right in front of you.
