A musical theatre show celebrating the music of Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, presented by Insideout Theatre Productions at Cottiers Theatre.
The Greatest Divas comes to Cottiers on Thursday 30 September, presented by Insideout Theatre Productions. It's a concert built around hit songs from Aretha Franklin and Tina Turner, performed by a first-class cast.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Cottiers is a former church in the heart of Glasgow's West End, and one of the city's more unusual spaces. The building houses a recently renovated theatre, a restaurant and a bar, with a collection of rooms that include a traditional public bar, an expansive beer garden and a 60-seat dining room alongside a large function and events space. The theatre itself seats 206 and is set against stained glass and ornate timberwork, with a black interior suited to certain types of drama. The bar and first-floor restaurant feature shimmering gold ceilings, original salvaged church chairs and handcrafted gilt mirrors, with views of an illuminated church steeple and mature gardens below.

The show runs from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, so it's a two-hour evening of Franklin and Turner's biggest songs. You'll find Cottiers Theatre at 93-95 Hyndland Street, Glasgow West End G11 5PU.
