The Boo Radleys bring a mix of shoegaze, indie rock and Britpop to Stereo Cafe Bar in Glasgow.
The Boo Radleys play Stereo Cafe Bar on Sunday 8 November, with the music starting at 7pm. It's a single-act bill, so they're the only name on the poster for the night.
They describe their sound as a nostalgic yet adventurous mix of shoegaze textures, indie rock and anthemic Britpop, blending dreamy soundscapes with uplifting, melody-driven hits and experimental twists. If you're familiar with those terms, you've got a good handle on what to expect: the wash of shoegaze, the punch of indie rock, and the big, singalong choruses that defined the Britpop era, all sitting alongside the more adventurous, experimental side they've always kept in the mix. It's a broad spread, so the set should pull from a few different places rather than sticking to one mood.
