A dazzling new stage show bringing Hollywood's iconic romantic comedy to life with a blazing rock score, directed by Jerry Mitchell.
Pretty Woman The Musical opens at The King's Theatre on 18 May 2027, bringing the 1990 romantic comedy to the Glasgow stage. It's a new stage show based on the film, described as a 'dazzling' production with a 'blazing rock score' at its centre. The production comes to Glasgow after a record-breaking run in the West End and a sell-out first UK tour in 2023.
The creative team behind it is a heavy-hitting one. Direction and choreography are by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, known for Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, and Hairspray. The original score is by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, the duo who wrote 'Summer of '69' and 'Heaven'. The book is by the film's original director Garry Marshall and screenwriter J.F. Lawton, so the story stays close to the one you know.
