Paula Cole returns to the stage with 'This Fire: 30', a special anniversary tour marking three decades of the landmark album This Fire.
Paula Cole plays the Cottiers Theatre on Friday 26 February, part of her This Fire: 30 tour. It's an anniversary run marking three decades since This Fire, the album that established her as one of the most distinctive voices of the 1990s. On the night, she performs the record in its entirety, bringing new life and nuance to the songs fans have carried for decades.
Cole is a Grammy winner known for fearless writing and a genre-blending sound. This Fire was a landmark for her in more ways than one: she was the first woman ever nominated for Best Producer in her own right for the album, and she went on to win Best New Artist in 1998. Singles from the record, like 'Where Have All The Cowboys Gone?' and 'I Don't Want To Wait', became classics, and she was an instrumental force behind the historic Lilith Fair. This tour is one of her most far-reaching runs in years, spanning more than 50 markets across the US, the UK and Europe.
