A 10-piece all-star Scottish group performs Paul Simon's Graceland album in full for a special one-off gig.
The Paul Simon Treatment play Saint Lukes and the Winged Ox on Tuesday 13 October, with the whole of Paul Simon's Graceland performed in full. It's a one-off gig, so this is the only time they're doing it.
Graceland turns 40 in 2026, and the organisers describe it as widely regarded as one of the best albums of the 1980s. The band is a ten-piece Scottish group led by Stuart Goodall and Andy Chisholm, and they've put together a full line-up to cover the record from start to finish. On vocals and guitar is Stu Goodall, with Andy Chisholm on guitar and as musical director. Cariss Crosbie takes keys and vocals, James Grant is on drums, and Louis Abbott handles percussion. Craig McMahon adds keys, while the horn section consists of Ross Lothian on trombone, Konrad Wiszniewski on saxophone, and Charles Dearness on trumpet. Johnny Copland rounds it out on bass.

With ten musicians on stage, the group has the numbers to do the album's arrangements properly rather than stripping them back. It's a one-night-only thing, so if you're going, this is the date. The gig starts at 7pm at Saint Lukes and the Winged Ox, 17 Bain Street, Glasgow East End G40 2JZ, and tickets are £21.49.
