Taskmaster star Mike Wozniak returns to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival with his new show The Bench at the Citizens Theatre.
Mike Wozniak is back in Glasgow on Saturday 20 March 2027, bringing his new stand-up show The Bench to the Citizens Theatre. It's part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, so it sits alongside a whole run of other comedy across the city that month.
If you've come across him through Taskmaster, that's where most people know him from these days, but he's worked across a few different things. He's appeared on Man Down and Junior Taskmaster, and you can hear him on the Three Bean Salad podcast, so there's a fair bit of his voice and timing to go on before you see him live. The Bench is a new touring show, and it centres on a story about a bench β the kind of specific, singular thing a stand-up can build a whole hour around.
The show runs for an hour and fifty minutes, including an interval, so it's a proper full evening rather than a short set. It's recommended for ages 14 and over, which is worth keeping in mind if you're thinking of bringing anyone younger. And there's a nice bit of local context to it: Β£2 from every ticket goes towards the running of the Citizens Theatre, so a small part of the price stays with the venue itself.
