A hit theatre production starring Ben Bowman, the UK's ultimate Michael Jackson tribute star, performing iconic dance routines and greatest hits with a live band.
Ben Bowman brings his Michael Jackson tribute to the SEC Armadillo on Sunday 22 November, as part of the UK tour of Michael Starring Ben. It's a theatre production built around Bowman, who's billed as the UK's ultimate Michael Jackson tribute star, and the show is a run through the King of Pop's biggest songs.
Bowman is the focus here, and the whole thing is built on how close he gets to the original. He looks and sounds like Jackson, and he takes on the dance routines with the kind of precision that's meant to make you feel like you're watching the man himself. It's a live band and a set of dazzling costumes that carry the night, and the setlist works its way through the greatest hits of both Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5. You'll hear 'Beat It', 'Billie Jean', 'Thriller' and 'Man in the Mirror' among them, so it's the songs most people know by heart.
It's a tribute production, and it's not associated with or endorsed by the Michael Jackson Estate. The Glasgow date is one stop on the show's UK tour, so it's coming to the city as part of a wider run of dates across the country.
